Apreciadas familias,

Finalizado nuestro 51 Curso de Idiomas, deseo para todos lo mejor en estos días de verano y tiempo de un merecido descanso.

Tengo la seguridad de que todo el generoso esfuerzo realizado por cada uno de los Directores de Grupo, Monitores i estudiantes que habéis participado en nuestros Cursos de Idiomas Padre Manyanet, ha sido del todo muy satisfactorio y muy gratificante.

Cerramos pues, un año más, una etapa más de nuestros Cursos en el extranjero, con el deseo de seguir ofreciendo un servicio de calidad y efectivo como complemento a la formación e instrucción de nuestros estudiantes, vuestros hijos e hijas.

Primeramente, agradecerles la confianza depositada en nosotros y, especialmente en mi. Han sido tres semanas lúdicas y de enseñanza, en la que los cursillistas han disfrutado y aprendido.
Recordarles que mañana, 23 de Julio, llegamos al aeropuerto "Adolfo Suárez Madrid Barajas" a las 19:55 horas a la Terminal T1. El vuelo es EI-594.
Los cursillistas llevan los diplomas correspondientes, al igual que los resultados académicos de los profesores nativos que les han impartido clase.
Además, recibirán un correo electrónico con las fotos que se han hecho durante la estancia en Cobh.

Titanic Experience

Today, it was our last day. We started, like every day, in the school. At one o'clock, we finished the school and said goodbye to the last group (from Majorca).
Later, we went to the Titanic Experience (a museum in Cobh). A guide explained us everything about Titanic and we saw the first class and the third class' rooms.
Finally, Manu invited us an ice-cream. It was delicious.
During the evening, Manu went to our houses and he gave us the certificates and the results of our course. We did very well!!!
It was a funny day.

Hoy, fue nuestro último día. Empezamos, como cada día, en el colegio. A la una en punto, nosotros terminamos el colegio y dijimos adiós al último grupo (de Mallorca)

Después, fuimos al museo del Titanic, en Cobh. Un guía nos explicó todo sobre el Titanic y vimos los camarotes de primera y tercera clase.
Finalmente, Manu nos invitó a un helado. Estaba delicioso.

Por la tarde, Manu fue a nuestras casa y nos dió nuestros diplomas y los resultados de las clases. ¡Lo hicimos muy bien!
Fue un día divertido.

Sports/ Activities & Bowling

Today is the first day that we have class without My Way (group fromm Basque Country) We miss them.
After having lunch, people signed the rucksacks or they wrote their names on the hands and arms of another people. Some people were playing basketball.
In the afternoon, we went to play bowling. It was fun.
When we arrived to Bishop's Road, we said goodbye to Corazonistas (group from Madrid and Zaragoza). They have been dismissed and most of us have cried.

Hoy ha sido el primer día que tuvimos clase sin los de la compañía My Way (grupo del País Vasco) Se les ha echado en falta.
Después de comer, la gente estaba firmando las mochilas. Algunos escribían sus nombres en los brazos y en las manos. Algunos han jugado al baloncesto.
Por la tarde, fuimos a la bolera. Nos lo hemos pasado muy bien.
Cuando hemos llegado a Bishop's Road, el grupo de Corazonistas (grupo de Madrid y Zaragoza) se han despedido y casi todos hemos terminado llorando.

Mahon Point

Yesterday; after school, we did a competition song among the different classes. We song "Yellow submarine", "Mally Malone", "Daydream Believer" and "Love Story". Finally, my team won with "Love Story".
At the evening, we went to a big shopping center, for buying and going to the cinema. We could watch three different films: "Jurassic World", "Minions" or "San Andreas". I watched "Jurassic World", and I enjoyed a lot.
When we returned to Cobh, we said goodbye to the friends who were leaving that night.

Ayer; después del colegio, hicimos un concurso de canciones entre las diferentes clases ("Yellow submarine", "Mally Malone", "Daydream Believer" and "Love Story". Finalmente, mi equipo ganó con "Love Story".
Por la tarde, fuimos a un gran centro comercial para comprar e ir al cine. Podíamos ver tres películas: "Jurassic World", "Minions" o "San Andrés". Yo ví "Jurassic World" y me gustó mucho.
Al volver a Cobh, nos despedimos de los compañeros que se iban esa noche.

Family Day

Today I had a great time because I went shopping with my mother and her sister. There were lots of shops such as Zara, Stradivarius, Bershka. After, we went to McDonald's. Finally, I went with my mother for picking up my brother to the birthday.
Hoy me lo he pasado muy bien porque he ido de compras con mi madre y su hermana. Había muchas tiendas como Zara, Stradivarius, Bershka. Después fuimos a comer al McDonald's. Luego fuí con mi madre a recoger a mi hermano a un cumpleaños.

Today I had a great time. During the morning I went shopping in Cork and then, I had lunch with Núria's family in a park with shows. Later, we went to Cobh and we had dinner and then, Núria and me went to another park with friends.
Hoy me lo he pasado muy bien. Por la mañana he ido de compras a Cork y luego he comido con la familia de Núria en un parque con actuaciones. Luego hemos regresado a Cobh y hemos cenado. Después, Núria y yo nos hemos ido a otro parque con amigos.

Today is the family day. I got up at half past ten and I had a toast with butter and milk for breakfast. After that, I went with Colin to play football and he won a trophy. After dinner, I played bowling and I went shopping. To finish the day, I went with my friends to the port.
Hoy es el día de la familia. Me levanté a las 10:30 horas y desayuné una tostada con mantequilla y leche. Después de desayunar, fuí con Colin a jugar fútbol y él ganó un trofeo. Después de cenar, jugué a los bolos y estuve de compras. Para finalizar el día, fuí con algunos amigos al puerto.

Yesterday, we went to have lunch to a park in Cork and visit a new park. Later, we went to Super macs for having dinner with my family and Silvia's family.
Ayer fuimos a comer a un parque de Cork y a visitar un nuevo parque. Después fuimos a cenar a Super macs con mi familia y la familia de Silvia.

Yesterday, I got up late and I had boiled eggs for breakfast with the family. Then, I played with the smallest son, Andrew. We had lunch at one o'clock (roasted meat with potatoes) Later, we went bowling with Alberto, Diego and their families. The bowling was closed, so we did laser tag. Later, we went shopping and we had dinner at McDonald's. After that, I met in the park with friends. It was a very funny day.
Ayer, yo me levanté tarde y desayuné huevos pasados por agua con la familia. Después estuve jugando con el hermano pequeño, Andrew. Comimos a las 13:00 horas (carne asada con patatas) Después fuimos a la bolera con Alberto, Diego y sus familias. La bolera estaba cerrada, así que hicimos combate láser. Después fuimos todos de compras y a cenar al McDonald's. Finalmente, quedé en el parque con amigos. Fue un día muy divertido.

Today, like every Sunday, was a family day. My family and I decided to go shopping during the morning. After, we had lunch and returned at home. At seven o'clock, we went to see hurling match between Cobh and Middleton. We lost but it was very good.
Hoy, como todos los domingos, era día familiar. Mi familia y yo decidimos ir de compras por la mañana. Después de comer, regresamos a casa. A las 19:00 horas fuimos a ver un partido de hurling entre Cobh y Middleton. Perdimos pero el partido estuvo muy bien.

Today I got up at 10:30. I had breakfast and I went running. Later, at one o'clock I went to the swimming pool with Alex and Josh. It was funny. At two o'clock I had dinner. Also, I went to laser combat with Alberto and Miguel. Later, we went shopping. Finally, I met with my friends in the park. It was a nice day.
Hoy me he levantado a las 10:30 horas. He desayunado y me fuí a correr. Después a la una he ido a la piscina con Alex y Josh. Fue divertido. A las dos cené y me fuí al combate láser con Alberto y Miguel. Despué quedé con mis amigos. Fue un día fantástico.

Today I've woken up very late, at 10:30. I've had a big breakfast, two pancakes and cereals. Then, I got ready because I was going to go to Cork with another family. But we had a problem because it was very busy so we went to Ballincollig, a city near Cork. There, I had lunch and we departed from there at five o'clock. I had chicken with potatoes and carrots for dinner. Then, I met with my friends. I watched TV with my family and I went to bed at 11:30.
Hoy me he levantado muy tarde, a las 10:30 horas. He tomado un gran desayuno, dos tortitas y cereales. Luego me he preparado porque iba a ir a Cork, con otra familia. Pero tuvimos un problema porque Cork estaba muy ocupado así que fuimos a Ballincollig, una ciudad cercana. Allí comí y salimos de ahí a las 17:00 horas. Cené pollo con patatas y zanahorias. Luego quedé con mis amigos. Ví la televisión con la familia y me fuí a la cama a las 11:30 horas.

Killarney

Today we've visited Killarney at 9:30 in the morning. When we arrived, we've gone to a farm and we had seen lots of animals like horses, pigs, dogs, ducks...
Later, we've had free time and we've been in a big and beautiful garden having lunch.
After, we've gone to the Nike's factory and we've walked visiting Killarney.

Hoy hemos ido a visitar Killarney a las 9:30 horas de la mañana. Al llegar, hemos ido a una granja y hemos visto muchos animales como caballos, cerdos, perros, gallinas...





Luego hemos tenido tiempo libre y hemos estado en unos jardines grandes y bonitos comiendo.

Después, hemos ido a visitar la fábrica de Nike y hemos dado un paseo por Killarney.

Shopping Day

Today we've woken up, we have gone to school at 9:30 and we have finished at 13:00 hours. We had lunch together at school.
Then, we've gone to Cork at two o'clock to go shopping!!! We had a good time and we were so lucky because the weather was good (it was sunny and windy)
There're a lot of shops: Penny's, Carroll's, GAP...
We had a very good time.

Hoy nos hemos levantado, hemos ido al colegio a las 9:30 horas y hemos terminado a las 13:00 horas. Hemos comido todos juntos en el colegio.
De ahí, a las 14:00 horas, hemos llegado a Cork y, ¡Hemos ido de compras! Nos lo hemos pasado fenomenal, y por suerte nos ha hecho muy buen tiempo (había mucho sol y un poco de viento)
Hay un montón de tiendas: Penny's, Carroll's, GAP...
Ha sido un día muy chulo.

Sports/ Activities & Table games/ Disco

Today I got up at 8:30. I had breakfast and I went to school.
Later, at one o'clock we had lunch. It was delicious.
Also, we had sports, but it was raining and we only played basketball. It was a funny moment!!!
Later; at seven o'clock, we went to the disco by bus and it was a good time.
It was a nice day!!!

Hoy me he levantado a las 8:30 horas. He desayunado y me he ido a la escuela.
Después; a las 13:00 horas, he comido. Estaba delicioso.
También, hemos tenido deporte, pero como estaba lloviendo solo pudimos hacer baloncesto. ¡Fue un momento divertido!
Después: a las 19:00 horas, fuimos en autobús a la disco. Fue guay.
¡Fue un día fantástico!

Blackrock Castle Observatory

Today, I've woken up at 8:30. I've had cereals for breakfast and I've gone to school walking.
In the break, we've played basketball. After, we've had lunch and we've taken a bus to go to Blackrock Castle.
First, we've seen a film inside a big balloon. Then, we've visited the top of the castle and, finally, we've seen another film where we had to play some games while we saw it.
To finish, we've arrived to Cobh at 4:30.

Hoy me he levantado a las 8:30 horas. He desayunado cereales y he ido andando al colegio. En el descanso, hemos jugado al baloncesto. Después, hemos comido y hemos cogido un autobús para ir a Blackrock Castle.
Primero, hemos visto una película dentro de un globo gigante. Después, hemos visitado lo alto del castillo y por último, hemos visto otra película donde teníamos que hacer jugegos mientras la veíamos.
Para terminar, hemos vuelto a Cobh sobre las 16:30 horas.

Cobh Cathedral/ Australia Day/ Bowling

Good morning,
Today I got up at half past eight and I had breakfast with Lesley (my host mum).
At half past nine I have gone to school and we have finished at one o'clock. Then, we went to visit the Cobh Cathedral and we have seen the market of Cobh. It was Australia Day!!!
In the afternoon, we went to play bowling!!!

Hoy me he levantado a las ocho y media y he desayunado con Lesley (mi madre irlandesa)
A las nueve y media he ido al colegio y hemos terminado a la una. Luego hemos visitado la Catedral y el mercadillo de Cobh. ¡Era el día de Australia!

Por la tarde, ¡Nosotros fuimos a la bolera!

Today; in the morning, we went to school as we usually do, but it was great because we had sung lots of songs.
During the afternoon, we went to Cork and it was very warm for being Ireland. We had visited a Cathedral and later, a big and beautiful university where a guide explained us all the things.
Finally, we got really tired but it was a very good gay.

Hoy por la mañana, hemos tenido colegio y hoy ha sido divertido porque hemos cantado canciones.
Luego por la tarde, hemos ido a Cork y ha hecho más calor que cualquier otro día. En Cork hemos visitado una iglesia y luego una universidad muy grande y bonita en la que un guía nos ha explicado todo.
Al final, hemos acabado muy cansados pero ha estado muy bien.

Family Day

Today, at 12 o'clock. I've been to he zoo with my host family and I've seen a new animal that was a rhino. Also, I had eaten with my mum and brothers there. When we arrived, my brother Shane and I had dinner. Later; when I finished, I hang out with friends and we went for a walk until 9 o'clock.
Hoy a las doce he ido al zoo con mi familia y hemos visto un rinoceronte que habían traído nuevo. Mis hermanos, mi madre y yo hemos comido allí. Cuando hemos llegado, mi hermano Shane y yo hemos cenado. Después de cenar, he salido con mis amigos a dar un paseo hasta las nueve.

Yesterday, I woke up late, I had fried eggs, sausages and bacon for breakfast. After, I played with the child and we ate roast meat. Finally, we went to sailing with the family until 9 o'clock.
Ayer, me desperté tarde y desayunamos huevos fritos con salchichas y bacon. Después jugué con el niño y comimos cordero asado. Finalmente, fuimos a navegar con la familia hasta las nueve.

Today, I got up at 10:30 because we went to Dublin on Saturday. For breakfast, I had a toast, milk, cereals and a glass of orange juice. It was delicious. Then; at one o'clock, I had lunch and later, I went to the swimming pool with Alberto, Josh and Collin. Finally, I had dinner with Alberto. Also I met with friends and went to the center of Cobh and played football. It was a nice day.
Hoy, me he levantado a las 10:30 horas porque ayer fuimos a Dublín. Para desayunar tomé una tostada, leche, cereales y un vaso de zumo de naranja. Estaba delicioso. Después a la una, fuí a la piscina con Alberto, Collin y Josh. Finalmente, fuimos a cenar con Alberto. También quedé con amigos y fuimos al centro de Cobh y jugamos al fútbol. Fue un día maravilloso.

Yesterday; during the morning, I went to some gardens for walking with the dog and my family showed me all the nice places there. Then; during the afternoon, I went with my mum to the Titanic museum. Then, I met with my friend Ana. Next, we went to have dinner and watched a film. Finally, I went to bed.
Ayer por la mañana me fuí a unos jardines a pasear al perro y me enseñaron todos los lugares bonitos de ese lugar. Luego por la tarde, mi madre y yo nos fuimos a un museo del Titanic. Luego quedé con mi amiga Ana. Después cenamos y vimos una película. Luego fuí a dormir.

Today; at seven o'clock, I went to see my host parents running in half a marathon. It was really good. Later, we visited a town and ate a burger there. It was a nice place with a castle. On the evening, we went to a restaurant for having dinner and finally I hang out with friends. I had a very good day!
Hoy a las siete he ido con mi familia a ver correr a los padres media maratón. Ha sido divertido. Luego hemos visitado un pueblo y hemos comido una hamburguesa, era un sitio muy bonito y tenía un castillo. Por la tarde fuimos a un restaurante a cenar y luego quedé con amigas. Fue un buen día.

This Sunday, I got up very late because I was very tired. After having breakfast, I played with my Irish sister (Lucy) We played soccer and we rode a bike. After having lunch, we went to the beach, but we didn't touch the water any of my brothers and I. I played with Adam (my Irish brother) one of the official sports in this country. When we arrived, we went to play with Adam's friends. In the afternoon, I went with my Spanish's friends to our favourite restaurant.
Este domingo me levanté muy tarde porque estaba muy cansada. Después de desayunar, fuí a jugar con mi hermana irlandesa (Lucy) Jugamos al fútbol e hicimos un paseo en bicicleta. Después de comer fuimos a la playa aunque no tocamos el agua ninguno de mis hermanos y yo. Jugué con Adam (mi hermano irlandés) a uno de los deportes oficiales. Cuando llegamos a casa, fuí con mi hermano y sus amigos a jugar. A la tarde, mis amigos españoles y yo fuimos a nuestro restaurante favorito.

Today, it was the family day. I got up at ten o'clock in the morning and I had breakfast with my family. I ate cereals with milk and a toast. During the morning, I have been talking with my Spanish's family. After, I went to the swimming pool with Colin and we had pizza for dinner. I finished my day hanging out with my friends.
Hoy era el día de la familia. Me he levantado a las diez de la mañana y he desayunado con mi familia. Yo comí cereales con leche y una tostada. Por la mañana, yo he estado hablando con mi familia española. Después Colin y yo hemos ido a la piscina y tuvismo pizza para cenar. Para terminar el día yo salí con mis amigos.

Today, I've woken up at 10:30. I've had pancakes for breakfast with the niece of my host mother. After, we've gone with another family to Spike Island. It was very interesting, specially, when we visited the prison. In the island, we had lunch. We departed at five o'clock form the island. After, I watched the Wimbledon's final, where Djokovic won. Then, I met with a friend. I had dinner and I went to bingo. To finish, I went to bed at 10:30.
Hoy me he levantado a las 10:30 horas. He desayunado tortitas con la sobrina de mi madre. Después hemos ido, junto con otra familia, a Spike Island. Fue muy interesante, sobretodo cuando visitamos la cárcel. En la isla comimos y nos fuimos sobre las 17:00 horas. Después vi la final de Wimbledon, donde Djokovic ganó. Después quedé con una amiga, cené y fuí al bingo. Para terminar, me acosté a las 10:30 horas.

Dublin

What best way to start the day being my birthday!!! Today we've woken up early because we have gone to Dublin. From 7:00 until 11:30, we've been in the bus.
When we arrived, we've visited Dublinia (a museum about Vikings where we had to answer some questions)
About 1:30 until 3:15, the teachers gave us free time and we had lunch and went shopping.
After, we went to Croke Park, a hurling stadium from Dublin. There, we visited the fitting rooms, the football field and we played some games.
At the end of this amazing day, we departed from Dublin at 6:00. It was a great day!!!

¡Qué mejor manera de empezar el día siendo mi cumpleaños! Hoy nos hemos levantado muy pronto porque íbamos a Dublín. Desde las 7:00 horas de la mañana hasta las 11:30 horas, hemos estado en el autobús.
Al llegar, hemos visitado Dublinia (un museo sobre vikingos donde teníamos que responder algunas preguntas)


Desde las 13:30 horas hasta las 15:15 horas, los profesores nos han dado tiempo libre para comer e ir de compras.
Después, fuímos a Croke Park, un estadio de hurling en Dublín. Ahí, visitamos los vestuarios, el campo de fútbol y hemos jugado a algunos juegos.
Para terminar este fabuloso día, salimos de Dublín sobre las 18:00 horas. ¡Fue un gran día!

Beach BBQ

Today, after arriving at school, we did a quiz. My group won, but, when the teachers counted the points again, it results that other group had won.
After that, we went to the beach for doing a BBQ. It was very funny cooking hamburgers and sausages. We returned at home at five o'clock and we spent the evening with the families.

Hoy, después de llegar al colegio, hemos hecho un concurso de preguntas. Mi grupo ha ganado, pero al volver a contar los puntos, resulta que había ganado otro grupo.

Después hemos ido a la playa a hacer una barbacoa. Ha sido muy divertido cocinar hamburguesas y salchichas. Hemos vuelto a casa a las cinco y hemos pasado la tarde con las familias.

Fota Wildlife Park/ Disco

Today, 9th of July, we have had school and the teacher has sent us lots of exercises, but we're learning a lot.
Then, at one o'clock, we went to the zoo and we saw lots of animals such as giraffes, tigers, monkeys...
When we left the zoo, each person went to their houses with their host families and we ate soon because at seven o'clock we were required to go to the disco. We've been on the disco until o'clock and we had a great time.

Hoy, 9 de Julio, hemo tenido colegio por la mañana, el profesor nos ha mandado muchos ejercicios pero estamos aprendiendo mucho.
Luego, sobre las 13:00 horas, hemos ido todos al zoo y hemos visto muchos animales como jirafas, tigres, monos...
Cuando nos fuimos del zoo, cada uno se fue a su casa y cenamos pronto porque teníamos a las 19:00 horas que ir a la discoteca. Hemos estado en la discoteca hasta las 22:00 horas y hemos bailado mucho y nos lo hemos pasado muy bien.
