Apreciadas familias,

Cerramos un capítulo más, un año más, de nuestros Cursos de Idiomas Padre Manyanet y... ¡ya van 50!

Quiero agradecer desde aquí, la dedicación, la profesionalidad, el interés y el trabajo bien hecho de todos y cada uno de los Directores y Monitores de los Grupos en los diferentes países.

Así pues, con el deseo de que los objetivos propuestos se hayan cumplido, espero que se haga realidad en cada uno de vuestros hogares el ideal de San José Manyanet: que cada familia sea como la de Nazaret (“Un Nazaret en cada hogar”).

¡Que paséis en familia un feliz verano!

Estimadas familias:

Primeramente, agradecerles la confianza depositada en nosotros y, especialmente en mi. Han sido tres semanas lúdicas y de enseñanza, en la que los cursillistas han disfrutado y aprendido.
Recordarles que mañana, 23 de Julio, llegamos al aeropuerto "Barcelona - El Prat" a las 9:40 horas a la Terminal T2B. El vuelo es EI-868.
Posteriormente, cogeremos el AVE, destino Atocha, aquellos cursillistas que viajan a Madrid, salimos a las 14:00 horas y nuestra llegada será a las 17:10 horas.
Los cursillistas llevan los diplomas correspondientes, al igual que los resultados académicos de los profesores nativos que les han impartido clase.
Además, recibirán un correo electrónico con las fotos que se han hecho durante la estancia en Cobh.

July 22nd

Hoy es el último día. Por la mañana hemos ido al colegio como todos los días. En el colegio hemos hecho un cuestionario sobre Cobh y luego nos han dado unos diplomas. Después del colegio, hemos comido y luego hemos hecho deporte.
Posteriormente, nos fuimos a casa para cenar. Luego fuimos a la bolera. Aunque es el último día, me lo pasé muy bien con mis amigos.

Today is the last day. In the morning, we went to school like every day. In the school we did a questionnaire of Cobh and then, we obtained certificates. After school, we ate the lunch and then, we did sports.
After that, we returned at home for having dinner.
Finally, we went to play bowling. Although it is the last day I was really happy with my friends.

Monday 21st

El pasado lunes fuimos a clase hasta la una. Después fuimos a la Catedral de San Finnbarre y fue un sitio muy bonito y, además, una catedral grande y alta. Después fuimos a la Universidad UCC y visitamos algunos de los edificios, eran muy interesantes.
Cuando terminamos la visita guiada, fuimos al centro de Cork y tuvimos tiempo libre. Mis amigos y yo fuimos a comprar souvenirs irlandeses para nuestra familia y amigos, porque era la última vez que estábamos en Cork.
Después llegamos a casa, Manu nos visitó y estuvimos con nuestra familia el resto del día.

Last Monday, we went to school until one o'clock. Then, we went to St. Finbarre Cathedral. It was very beautiful place, and also a big and tall Cathedral. Later, we went to UCC University and visited some of the buildings, and they were very interesting.
When we finished this guide tour, we went to the centre of Cork city, and we had free time. My friends and I went to shopping Irish's souvenirs for our families and friends, because it was the last time we stayed at Cork city.
Then, we arrived at home, Manu came to visit us and we stayed with our host families the rest of the day.

Sunday 20th

Hoy ha sido mi último día en familia. Primero, he ido con unos amigos a correr unas dos horas. Después, he dio con mi familia a Cork y me he comprado una camiseta de Liverpool. Finalmente, hemos ido unos amigos a dar un paseo y hemos saltado en el trampolín de la casa de un amigo.
Today, it was my last family day. First, I went with some friends to run during two hours. Then, I went to Cork City with my family and I bought a Liverpool t-shirt. Finally, I went with some friends to have a walk and we jumped in a jumping.

Hoy fuí a correr por el pueblo. A las tres en punto, fuí a despedirme de la gente de Mallorca. Me fui con mi familia a comprar ropa y regalos para mi familia de España.
Today, I went to run around the town. At 3:00 o'clock, I went to say goodbye to people that came from Majorca. I went with my family to go shopping and I bought clothes and gifts to my family in Spain.

Hoy no he hecho nada con mi familia. He ido a despedirme de mis amigos de Mallorca y después he quedado con unos amigos.
Today, I haven't done anything with my family. I've gone to say goodbye to my friends from Majorca and then, I went with my friends.

Hoy me he levantado y hemos idos a ver una competición de la niña. Después, hemos ido a casa. Me lo he pasado muy bien.
Today, I woke up and we went to see a competition of the girl. Later, we have gone at home. I enjoyed a lot!!

Ayer por la mañana fuimos a la playa. Después me fui de compras con mi madre, mi hermana y mi prima. Volvimos a casa y tuvimos la cena a las cinco en punto. Después, mi madre y yo fuimos en coche a ver la isla. Fue muy divertido. Los hijos de mi padre vinieron a casa y pasé el resto del día jugando con ellos.
Yesterday in the morning, I only stayed in beach. Later, I went to a shopping centre with my mother, my sister and my cousin. We went to home and we had dinner at five o'clock. Later, my mother and I went to see the island by car. It was really good. Then, children of my dad came at home and I played with them the rest of the day.

El último domingo, mi familia y yo fuimos de compras. Fuimos a dos centros comerciales y fue muy divertido. Entramos en todas las tiendas. También visitamos una tienda de Coca cola y cogimos una botella con nuestros nombres. Me lo pasé genial.
The last Sunday, my host family and I went shopping. We went to two shopping centres, and it was funny. We had a look in all the shops. We also visited one Coca cola's shop, and we took bottles with our names. I enjoyed so much.

Fuí a Bishop's Road a decir adiós a la gente de Mallorca. Yo conocí a unos amigos en mi casa y jugué con ellos y cenamos.
I went to Bishop's Road to say bye to people from Majorca. I met friends in my house and we played and had dinner.

Hoy he ido a una barbacoa con la familia. Me lo pasé muy bien. Luego me fui a jugar a la PS3 con mis hermanos.
Today, I went to a BBQ with my family. I was very happy. Then, I went to play PS3 with my brothers.

Ayer fui a un parque en Cork y allí tuvimos la comida y vimos un show de magia. Después fui a casa y vimos una película.
Yesterday, I went to a Park in Cork and I stayed there all the day, having lunch and seeing a magic's show. Then, I went to home and the family and me watched a film.

July 19th

Hoy hemos ido a Killarney, y nuestros amigos del País Vasco han dejado Irlanda y, mañana, nuestros amigos de Mallorca.
En Killarney; primero, hemos ido a una granja donde nos han enseñado como era la vida en Irlanda.
Luego, hemos comido y hemos ido a un centro comercial donde estaba la tienda de Nike y algunos hemos comprado allí.

Today, we went to Killarney and, also, our friends from Basque Country left Ireland and tomorrow, our friends from Majorca.
In Killarney; firstly, we went to a farm where we learnt how it was the life in Ireland.
Finally, we went to the Nike Factory and some of us, had shopping there.

July 18th

Ayer empezamos las clases como siempre, un poco aburridas. En la segunda clase se fueron las mochilas verdes y naranjas porque era su último día de clase. Comimos y fuimos a un centro comercial. Allí teníamos dos horas para comprar. Después fuimos al cine a ver una película. Las películas eran Maléfica, Tammy y Transformers.
Al terminar, fuimos a Cobh y luego quedamos con los que se iban mañana.

Yesterday, the classes started, like the same day, a little boring. In the second class, the green and orange bags went to other class because it was their last class day. We ate and the went to a mall. We had two hours where we bought things.
Later, we went to the cinema. We choose among different movies: Maleficent, Tammy and Transformers.
When the film finished, we came back to Cobh and we stayed with our friends to say them goodbye.

July 17th

Hoy estamos a menos de una semana para que se termine esta gran experiencia.
Como siempre, empezamos el día dando clases y después de esto, fuimos a la piscina (muy útil ya que hacía mucho calor). Después de risas en la piscina, todos fuimos a casa para arreglarnos porque la último disco se acercaba y estábamos esperando.
Estando en la disco, el tiempo pasaba muy rápido ya que nos lo estábamos pasando genial.
Después de esto tocaba ir a dormir para estar listo para el día de mañana.

We are less than one week for the end of this good experience.
Like all the days, we started the day with the class and, later, we went to the swimming pool (very useful because it was very hot) After laughings in the pool, it was the time for going back at home because the last disco was coming.
When we were in the disco, the time passed very fast because we enjoyed it so much.
When the disco finished, we went to bed for being ready for the day of tomorrow.

July 16th

Hoy hemos ido a visitar un castillo de Black rock. Dentro del castillo había un planetario que era muy interesante. Nos enseñaban, principalmente, el proceso de cada cosa y cuando fue inventado. Había diferentes actividades y subimos a la torre para ver las vistas.

Today, we went to visit the Black rock Castle. Inside the castle, there was a planetarium that it has been very interesting because, mainly, they taught us the process of every thing and when was invented.

There were different activities and we went to the top of the tower for seeing the views.

July 15th

Por la mañana, como todos los días, tuvimos las clases y la comida. Después de la comida y de tener un poco de tiempo libre, fuimos andando hasta la Catedral de St. Coleman, que se encuentra en el centro del pueblo. Allí, nos explicaron la historia sobre la Catedral y Cobh (fue el padre de Manu)
Al terminar, bajé con unas amigas al pueblo donde se estaba celebrando una fiesta típica sobre Australia.
Después de cenar en nuestras casas, fuimos a la bolera de Cork.

During the morning, like all the days, we went to the classes and had lunch. After having lunch and free time, we went walking to  St. Coleman's Cathedral which is in down town. There, we learnt about Cobh and Cathedral's history (Manu's host dad explained to us)
When we finished, I went with some friends to the village where people were celebrating a typical Australian party.
Finally, we had dinner and bowling in Cork.

July 14th

Ayer fuimos al cole como normalmente hacemos. Cuando terminamos, fuimos a comer y cuando el patio se terminó, nos dirigimos al karaoke en el autobús.
Allí jugamos al ping pong y cantamos canciones. ¡Fue muy divertido! Después estuvimos en Cork haciendo compras.
Para terminar el día fuimos con nuestras familias.

Yesterday we went to the school as normally we do. When we finished, we had lunch and, when the break finished we went to the karaoke by bus.
There, we played ping pong and sang songs. It was really funny!!

Then, we went to Cork for going shopping. Finally, we came back to Cobh for being with our families.

July 13th

Este domingo ha sido muy divertido. He ido con la familia a comprar unos electrodomésticos y luego he ido a ver una película "Transformers". Al final, como se hizo tarde, fuimos a cenar a un restaurante.
This Sunday was very funny. I was gone with my family to go shopping. They bought electronics and then, we went to watch a film in the cinema "Transformers". At the end, we went to a restaurant because it was late.

Fuimos a Youhghal, y andamos por allí, visitamos algunas tiendas. Cenamos fuera y después fuimos a un bar para ver la final del Mundial. Fue fantástico.
We went to Youhghal, and we walked around there. We visited some shops... and we had dinner out, and then, we went to a bar for seeing the World Cup. It was fantastic.

Fuí a correr por la mañana con Irati. Después fui al pub para ver un partido de hurling con la familia y la final del Mundial.
I went to run in the morning with Irati. I went to the pub to watch a match of hurling with the family and finally, we watched the World Cup.

Hoy fue mi segundo día de familia y Antonio vino con nosotros. Primero, fuimos al cine para ver Transformers y comimos una pizza de peperoni con patatas. Finalmente, vimos la final del Mundial.
Today was the second family day, and today Antonio came with us. First, we went to the cinema to saw Transformers and we ate pizza of peperoni with chips. Finally, we saw the final of the World Cup.

Hoy hemos estado en casa y comido verdura.
Today, we have been in home and we ate vegetables.

Hoy he estado con la familia de Jorge. Hemos ido a ver una película y después hemos estado viendo la final del Mundial. ¡¡Alemania!!
Today, I have been with Jorge's family. We have gone to the cinema for watching a film and later, we have been watching the final of the World Cup. Germany!!!

Fuí a la bolera y al estadio para ver un partido de rugby.
I went to play bowling and rugby's stadium to see a football match.

Ayer por la mañana dormimos hasta tarde. Después comimos y fuimos con mis primos y mis padres a un pueblo para ver un partido de hurling. Después a unos recreativos gigantes y jugamos a muchas cosas. Por último, en casa vimos la final y cenamos comida china. Fue un día divertido.
Yesterday in the morning we slept. Later, we ate and went with my cousins and parents to a village for seeing a hurling match. Then, we went to a huge recreations and played over there. At the end, we had dinner Chinese food and watched the World Cup. It was a funny day.

Ayer fui a la playa con toda la familia. Allí comimos y luego helado. Fue maravilloso ir a la playa. Luego volvimos para darnos una ducha y visitamos un castillo enorme y precioso. Finalmente, volvimos a casa para ver la final del Mundial y cenamos pescado y patatas.
Yesterday, I went to the beach with all my family. Over there, we had lunch and ate an ice-cream. It was lovely to go to the beach!. Then, we came again to have a shower and went to visit a castle which is so big and beautiful. Finally, we went to home again and watched the football match with fish and chips.

July 12th

El sábado fuimos a Dublín, la capital de Irlanda. Para llegar pronto, tuvimos que estar en la parada del bus a las 7:00 horas de la mañana. A las 10:30 horas llegamos a Dublín.
Al principio fuimos a un museo y tuvimos que resolver unas preguntas. Cuando salimos del museo fuimos a la Universidad para comer en sus jardines.

Luego fuimos al famoso bar "Hard Rock" y nos contaron la historia de los cantantes del Rock. Al final nos fuimos todos a comprar en la calle principal donde hay muchas tiendas y algunos restaurantes. Cuando llegó la hora de volver, no fuimos al bus para volver a nuestras casas.

On Saturday, we went to Dublin, the capital of Ireland. To arrive soon, we had to be at the bus stop at 7:00 in the morning. At 10:30 we arrived to Dublin. At first, we went to museum and we had to answer different questions about this. When we went out to museum, we went to the University for having lunch in the garden. Next, we went to Hard Rock Café in which we listened to the history of famous singers. At the end, we went all together to the main street for going shopping. You can find different shops and restaurants. When the time came to return, we went to bus for arriving to our homes.

July 11th

Fuimos al colegio, como la mayoría de los días. Después, comimos y cogimos el autocar para ir la playa. Cuando llegamos a la playa hicimos grupos para cocinar la barbacoa. Mi grupo hizo algunas hamburguesas y salchichas. Fue muy guay. Luego tuvimos tiempo libre y jugamos con las rocas y el mar.
Finalmente, cogimos otra vez el autocar para volver a Cobh. El resto del día, estuvimos con nuestras familias. Este día fue muy divertido.

We went to school like the majority of the days. Then, we had lunch and we took the coach, to go to the beach. When we arrived at the beach, we made groups for cooking the barbecue. My group did some hamburgers and sausages. It was very cool.
Then, we had free time, so we played with the rocks and the sea.
Finally, we took again the coach to came back to Cobh. And the rest of the day, we were with our families. This day was very fun!!!

July 10th

Hoy, como todos los días, hemos ido al colegio a las 9:30.
Después de clase, los estudiantes de Bilbao fueron a la piscina y nosotros tuvimos deportes. Jugamos al fútbol, rugby y al baloncesto.
En la noche, hemos tenido discoteca en Cork donde hemos bailado toda la noche.

Today, like all the days, we went to school at 9:30. After class, Bilbao's students went to the swimming pool and we had sports (football, rugby and basketball). Then, during the evening, we had our second day of disco in Cork where we danced all night.

July 9th

Hoy hemos empezado las clases a las 9:30. Hemos terminado a las 11:00. Hemos tenido 15 minutos de recreo. A las 11:15, fuimos a clase otra vez hasta las 12:45. Después hemos comido.
A las 1:15, hemos ido a Fota (Zoo) a ver animales. Después volvimos a casa a cenar.
Finalmente, hemos ido a aprender bailes irlandeses. ¡Este día ha sido fantástico!

Today, we started the classes at 9:30 and we finished at 11:00. We had fifteen minutes break. At 11:15, we had class again until 12:45. Later, we have eaten.
At 1:15, We have gone to the Fota Wildlife Park (Zoo) to seeing animals. When we finished, we came back at home.
Finally, we learnt Irish dances. It was a fantastic day!!!
